and a Happy New Year to ewe!

February 19, 2015

Screen shot 2015-02-19 at 10.01.49I’m sorry about the pun, but I couldn’t resist it given that I have shamelessly appropriated a friend’s photograph to enliven my post – she is today celebrating the beginning of the Tibetan Year of the female wood sheep (apparently).

I like the possibilities of New Years, all those resolutions while I bask in the fresh start, before it all goes pear-shaped again. This one seems particularly opportune in the grey days of February, as a reminder that brighter, greener days are on their way.

Unfortunately after beautiful blue skies in Cambridge on Tuesday, we are back to greyness and rain at the moment – here’s hoping for Spring.
