every now and then . . .
(mostly when I catch sight of myself in shop windows) I contemplate the need to lead a healthier lifestyle – one which would essentially comprise more exercise and less chocolate – never an enticing proposition, so mostly I just lie down until the feeling goes away. However, it lasted slightly longer than usual yesterday, and it happened to coincide with when I was in the kitchen, so I made some low fat blueberry and granola muffins (some great muffin recipes in the latest edition of the Sainsburys magazine).
Being on a bit of a roll, I moved on to a low(er) fat version of our Sunday Sundae – peach melba this time, made with half a peach (tinned with juice), low fat strawberry and vanilla iced dessert, crushed meringue and a sauce made with defrosted raspberries and a bit of icing sugar. Ok, this still wasn’t what you’d call a health food, but it was delicious!
Hi Pictfamily.
Love the blog – and the look of these cakes.
I’ve got a wordpress part to my website as well – interesting to see how you are using it. It looks really good.
